  Derek Ohly, CEO & Co-founder

  Derek is perhaps the only guy in the world who understands the bra shopping problem. After he discovered the widespread dissatisfaction women feel about the process, he took a sewing class and spent 2 years sewing prototypes and developing CAD software to fix the problem. Prior to Zyrra, Derek spent five years in operations management, database and web development at Comstock Images, a mid-sized company since acquired by Jupiter Images. He has a BA from Williams College and an MBA from Babson College.

  Christi Andersen, Co-Founder

  Christi thought of the idea for Zyrra after years of struggling with bra shopping. She battled with finding comfortable yet good looking bras for her larger chest and small frame. Evidently, her size didn’t coincide with the standard, mass-produced sizes in major retail stores. When she spoke with her friends, she realized that most of them, regardless of size, had the same problem and dreaded bra shopping as well. The issue wasn’t just for women of a certain size. All women — from AA to DD and beyond — had a hard time finding bras that fit and/or made them feel fabulous. Christi received an MBA from Babson College in 2004.

  Bridget Mackey, Sales & Marketing

  Bridget jumped into Zyrra from Gazelle, an Inc 500 start-up, where she expanded the Business Development & Strategic Partnership Group. Prior to Gazelle, she worked at DraftFCB, an advertising agency in New York. She hails from upstate NY, and received her BA in Marketing and International Business from Villanova University. So we know who to go to when we’re ready for international expansion.

  Carey Dever, Operations & Communication

  Carey went into the legal field after school but soon realized it was not where she wanted to be. She moved from New York to Boston and began working in clothing stores. Once she helped women find the perfect outfits. At Zyrra she now helps women find the perfect bras to go under those outfits. She’s also unofficially in-house counsel. She graduated from Fairfield University with her B.A. in History and International Studies and from Pace Law School with a Certificate in International Law.
